It was here the whole time! Honest!
So I actually got this uploaded late Wednesday night, but didn't get around to tidying up the RSS until just now. Gomen. Anyway, here it is, episode #27. A bit lengthier than usual, but I don't really babble all that much in it. And I *did* trim out 10 minutes of wasted space :)

Episode 25 - insert trumpet flare here
This is one of those artificial milestone episodes, #25. Still, it's cool that's I've gotten this many out. More wandering babbling in this one, like most others. I'm working my up to something else, possibly an actual *theme* for a few episodes. Stay tuned :)

And more Ozzy pictures too!
Okay, so here's some Ozzy Osmond pics going the other direction:
I'm not too happy with the way the second pic came out - something not right about the space between them, and his head isn't in quite the right spot. The first one, though, I like. It took me all of about 15 minutes, too. The pic of the two of them was almost two hours, after a few false starts and do-overs.

Just getting ready to start (check out the dramatic lighting)...
An hour or two into the baking and frosting by this point. I was starting to get bored of red / white / green, so I started experimenting with colors and designs like usual. Note the color gradient from green to purple, as well as the Smurf.
Close-up of the surprise cookies. Buttery cookie, rolled in sugar, with a chocolate kiss inside... and they're almost gone already :(

As mentioned on my Twitter feed, it's Christmas cookie making time!
It's an all-day affair making Christmas cookies here, between the baking and the decorating and the storing... I'll try to get another pic or two up as things progress. (If the wife will let me, that is.)

No rest for the wicked Photoshopper
Okay, so backstory before you see this:
My wife went out Christmas shopping yesterday with one of our neighbors. Said neighbor is older than us, but not old enough to be parent age to us. They went to Hot Topic to look for something, and the neighbor was commenting on the loud obnoxious music, saying that her kids used to listen to this stuff, this "Ozzy Osmond" music...
I pictured the Prince of Darkness with perfectly coifed hair... and set to work on the image you see below. Oddly enough, the classic Ozzy image that came to mind wasn't GIS-able, so I improvised. It was a quick Photoshop - I got it done in less than an hour, including sourcing images and uploading. Tonight I'll work the image the other direction, with Ozzy's face on Donny's body. But for now, this is what you get:

Episode #24 - All Over The Map
This episode is a bit on the haphazard side. It starts off in my backyard talking about the weather, then follows me in to work, continue with a track of replacement audio after a recording segment died, then continues with some driving, a brief interlude with police sirens, and then shopping and more driving. And all that in 31 minutes!
