Episode #55 - Summer Vacation?

Here comes a big episode, over 55 minutes. I got a lot of recording done on a field trip I took with one of the kids. There was some interesting sound to be had there. I also got some audio from the local mall, and some discussion of our recently selected summer vacation. Lots of noises, lots of podcast. Have fun.

Hello From Michigan #54 - A Very Cold Week

Two weeks in a row, wow! I might be getting the hang of this again. And not only that, but I got a lot of stuff in this week. Five different segments, clocking in at 48 minutes. Enjoy!

Hello From Michigan #53 - Snow Patrol 2009

And here... we... go!

(Sorry, we finally rented Dark Knight this weekend, and the line came to mind.)

Still... here we are, the first podcast of the new year. Hope my myriad half dozen listeners enjoy it. Maybe I'll shift to Sunday for releases - it'll give me a chance to record on the weekend and make is still feel fresh.

7 things

This meme was passed along to me by Zaldor, someone I follow on twitter. You're supposed to list seven things someone might not know about you, and then ask seven others to do the same. Well, here's my seven things:

  1. I edit my HTML by hand - no GUI tools, no editor tricks. Any time you see a web page or HTML formatted text from me, it was all done manually. Like this list; I actually had to look up the W3C docs for formating a numbered list to make sure I was doing it right :)
  2. I am left handed. And left footed. And left eyed. Very left dominant in all those parts.
  3. Before my voice changed, I could hit higher notes than the girls in my school and carry them longer.
  4. I spent 11 years in Catholic school, from 2nd grade until college (which is how I know I could sing higher than the girls)

Umm... still working on the list. I'll finish this up later :)
