Take a look at this
Mary Moore's presentation on the future of health sciences libraries. Would anyone be interested in getting together to discuss her ideas, pro or con?

I would. What MM says makes sense to me. I see that some of her ideas reflect activities that we at HSL are already involving ourselves in, and, yet, there is much more to learn about and to do.

Very interesting and fits right in on a paper that Anna and I want to present at next years Midwest MLA. So, yes would like to discuss.

I'm interested too, particularly in discussing the concepts related to fostering a "culture of innovation." Some of the other themes of the presentation will probably also surface in Tuesday's staff development session.

I think this listing of an open position (coincidentally, from yesterday's MEDLIB-L) fits right in here, too, emphasizing the new outlook, innovative technologies, and expectations, with the traditional reference duties mentioned as almost an afterthought at the end of the job description.
