Week 25: Dark Chocolate Sweeties

Back on track, finally. This week's recipe has a great name and a great set of ingredients to match! There is nothing funny going on here and I predict that these will be a good, solid, chocolaty brownie.

Well. These are a keeper. No-nonsense. This is the "Maxwell House" of brownies--Americana at its finest. There was nothing not to like about these, like a cup of joe with cream and sugar.

My score: 9.5

Solid! Excellent! Was half expecting a bitter "sophisticated dark chocolate" taste but these were perfect. These are an "anytime" brownie. Dessert, midnight snack, dinner, breakfast. Outstanding texture, too - these are worthy of bare hand, silverware, plasticware, and chrome plasticware. Also, suitable for plates, napkins, or flat out freestyling with no net. These are top notch, with eating flexibility worthy of work and dinner party alike.

The perfect follow-up to this delicacy is a cup of the library's freeze-dried Kenya packet coffee. Pulling the cup out before the *BEEP* sounds and angering Anne is a bonus no man can resist.

Rating: 9.9. (Read: 10, but I loved the Strawberry Delight Brownies so much that nothing can ever be a perfect 10 again... save for another batch of SDBs.)

Outstanding work, jamm!

A classic! I'd give them a definite 9. Thanks!
