Brownie Friday on Hiatus
Brownie Friday is on hiatus, unfortunately, NOT in the tropics. We will resume our weekly delight on the 22nd of the month. Apologies to those of you who will have to find your breakfast elsewhere.

Ann Arbor's Only Brownie Delivery Service
Ever wonder how the brownies arrive here each Friday morning, bright and early at 7am? Jennifer rides them in on the back of her primary mode of transport, her Cannondale Adventure 400, rattling on the rack in the back all the way down Washington Ave.
The brownie pan is strapped on the back with 2 bungie cords. The pan fits on the rack so perfectly, its like it was designed for this mode of transport! The handles on the lid help to secure the bungies, although the pan and rack to quite a bit of rattling on the ride in. For one of the recipes, all of the nuts that were pressed into the top bounced off and had to be re-seated upon arrival. Luckily, that has been the only major mishap.
The exception to the bike is brownies that have to go in the jelly roll pan, which does not have a lid. Those come by bus.

A Little Bit of Clean Up
So I was looking back through the list of entries and realized that the numbering was all whack. We had a couple of sidetrack recipes that were included as actually weekly recipes from the grand experiment, so I had to do some renumbering. I just didn't feel comfortable included those as part of the book evaluation. For now, I think that we are back on track and back to Week 25, almost to the halfway point in the book! I wish it was that easy to rewind and re-do other things in life!
