Kresge Library Joins State-wide Lending Program
Kresge Library has joined the state-wide lending program MeLCat. The MeLCat program is sponsed by the Michigan eLibrary and provides users at member institutions with a requesting and delivery service for books and other materials available in remote libraries. Academic and public libraries throughout the state of Michigan participate in this program.
Any person with a current or continuing University of Michigan--Ann Arbor affiliation with a patron record in the Kresge Library automation system can place requests for materials held by other MeLCat libraries, including placing requests for items in our own collections that are unavailable for checkout.
You can access titles available through MeLCat from the Kresge Library's Catalog. After performing a search, you will see a button labeled "Search MeLCat". Click this button to perform you search in MeLCat and request titles that you want. Or you can go directly to MeLCat to search for titles. Delivery takes about a week and you will be notified when your item has been delivered to the Kresge Library.
If you have questions or would like more information about this service, please contact the library at email@example.com.
