Where Can I Find this Book?

A new service allowing you to locate books in a library near you, or across the country, is now available. OCLC has made it's WorldCat service available to everyone. WorldCat is a large database of books, periodicals and other materials available in libraries across the country.

Search for a title, enter your zip code or state, and WorldCat will tell you what libraries near you own the title. You will be able to go to one of the nearby libraries and use the item. You may not be able to check out an item if you do not have a card with the owning library.

To have an item requested from another library, you can use the University Library's Inter-Library Loan (ILL) service. The University Library will make the request for you and let you know when the item is available for pick up.
