New Content Added to Emerging Medical Technologies
A new group of thirty-six companies has been added to the Emerging Medical Technologies subscription.
The updates consist of 33 new Brief Profiles from LSI research, 3 new Deep Profiles from LSI research for companies in the biotechnology and medical devices industries.
Emerging Medical Technologies provides company profiles and investor presentations with audio and slides for hundreds of emerging medical technology companies. Access is available on the Library's A-Z Database page.

New Podcast Available
A new podcast covering library resource for finding Analyst Reports is now available on the Kresge Library iTunes site. You can find a listing of all of our instructional podcasts on the Kresge Library Dash page.

New Historical Data on Corporate Social Responsibility
Historical tables from the Socrates database for 2006-2008 have been added to the Kresge collection. This historical data provides profiles and rankings for over 650 US corporations, including all companies on the Standard & Poor's 500™ and the Domini 400 Social Index, on environmental, social and governance factors. Coverage dates are from 1991-2008.

New Look for the A-Z Database List
Visitors to the Kresge Library's A-Z Database Listing page will now see a new, more streamlined resource. We've updated the page to make navigating and reading it easier, as well as to add some information about the kinds of personal notifications that some databases provide.

ebrary Ebooks Site Gets New Look
On January 20, ebrary will upgrade its user interface with a new look and new features. The search functionality has been improved and a new viewer, QuickView, will allow users to instantly view documents without downloading and installing a plug-in. The ebrary Reader will still be required for printing and advanced functions.
ebrary is a searchable collection of electronic books. The Business, Marketing and Economics Collection offers access to 5000 full-text eBooks, research reports, company profiles and case studies to support business study and research.

Kresge Library Acquires Global and China Reports from IBISWorld
In addition to US industry reports, users of IBISWorld can now access Global and China reports. These are available through the links listed under "Search for International Industries" on IBISWorld's front page. Users can browse or search for information on global and Chinese economies and industries.

IBISWorld Presents New Recession Updates
IBISWorld has recently supplemented their usual industry market report offerings with recession updates for the more than 700 industries in their database. These reports are available through the IBISWorld website and include key statistics, outlook, market segmentation and characteristics, and general industry conditions and related details.

Brandweek Directory now available
Kresge Library now provides access to the Brandweek Directory. This resource allows users to search by brand name to find out about the company that produces a product, including key personnel and ad spending information for the company's ad agency. Data can be downloaded for import into Excel.
Access to the Brandweek Directory is available through the Kresge Catalog as an ebook. This resource is available to Ross users only.
