Kresge Library Annual Report Available

We are pleased to announce the availability of the 2010 Kresge Library Annual Report. This is the fourth report from Kresge and it showcases the activities and accomplishments of the amazing staff at the library. Central to the year's activities was a 32% increase in reference transactions at the library - a great measure of our interaction with the students, faculty and staff at Ross.

Using Kresge Library Resources To Prep For Your Interviews

As many students are jumping into internship interviews over the next few weeks, I wanted to highlight some of the more useful Kresge Library resources that can assist you with your interview preparation.

Company Information
We have many great databases to help with your company research. We compiled some of our favorites on our "I Need to Find Company Information" wiki page.

Analyst Reports are also very useful for finding out what is happening at a company. For information on the best databases to use for Analyst Reports, please visit the Analyst Reports wiki page.

Online Career Guides and eBooks
We have a number of excellent career resources that we make available to the Ross Community. We have compiled a list of the best career resources at Kresge. Two items of note include: Vault Career Insider, a great resource for helping learn more about an industry or the culture at a company; and that also provides excellent industry guides and their “Ace Your Case” series of help books for case interviews.

New RefWorks features!

RefWorks, the citation management software available to all UM users, has launched a beta version of their new interface.

RefWorks 2.0 includes enhanced organization and output options, customizable launch pages and reference formats, and easy generation of both in-text citations and bibliographies. Don't like the new interface? You can always click on the RefWorks Classic link at the top of the page.

While you're there, you might want to check out the RefGrabIt plugin, which makes it easy to grab citation information for webpages you might want to reference. A mobile version of Refworks is also available.

Kresge Library regularly offers training session on RefWorks; until the next class, you can access tutorials through the RefWorks Resource Center or contact a librarian for assistance.
