Kresge Library Database Instruction Schedule February 2007

Evening MBAs take note! Several sessions for you this month: "Power User: Factiva," "Kresge Library Marketing Research Databases," and an extra evening of "Introduction to Kresge Library Databases." We're also offering several more evenings of "Jumpstart Your Job Search," and for the rest of Ross--more "Jumpstart Your Job Search" and a Power User session on "Guidestar," a NEW database on non-profits, just in time for MAP! Hope to see you all at the Kresge Library Database sessions in February 2007!

Center, Frost & Sullivan and more. It's basically an overview of Kresge's marketing research resources,including print and electronic. We'll talk about finding market share, consumer info., market research reports and more.

Confused about Library resources? Want to find out how to use the newest databases? Come to one of our instruction sessions in October. Sessions and times are as follows:

Introduction to Kresge Library Databases

Learn to find company, industry and financial information. Learn to find journal articles for your assignments. Databases include Hoover's Online, Standard & Poor's Net Advantage, IBISWorld, Thomson Research, ABI/Inform Global (ProQuest), Factiva and others.
Jumpstart Your Job Search
Thursday, October 5 - 1:10-1:50pm

Use Kresge Library resources such as CareerSearch, WetFeet.com, Vault, Onesource, and Ross Student Resume Books to kick-start or augment your job search. Useful options for off-campus job searches.
