Welcome to What's in a Name
This blog is meant to be an active community space where people can reflect, respond to and comment on the power of naming and names. The Office of LGBT Affairs, through a theme year, "What's in a Name?", seeks the feedback from the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and ally communities regarding a name change for the Office, to be decided December 2007. Our hope is that this site will complement the public forums for the What's in a Name discussion and serve as a central clearinghouse for materials and information regarding the Office's name change.
