Lighthouse Drawings by Marilyn Mulgrew
SITE: Lighthouse Drawings by Marilyn Mulgrew
URL: http://home.rochester.rr.com/mjm/light1.html
DESCRIPTION: Interested website by a graphic designer who loves lighthouses and works with computer software to create very colorful illustrations of lighthouses. These are great to look and are really quite beautiful. The page above is for lighthouses in New York. Other pages are for lighthouses in Michigan, Other Great Lakes, East Coast, and West Coast.
The pages include brief historical and geographical sketches. A great resource with some very interesting depictions of these buildings.

Lighthouses of the Great Lakes (Boatnerd)
SITE: Lighthouses of the Great Lakes (Boatnerd)
URL: http://lighthouse.boatnerd.com/
DESCRIPTION: Very nice website on the lighthouses of the great lakes (hopefully, that is not a surprise). The site features many photographs of Great Lakes lighthouse, organized by body of water. These links include the bodies of water that are not always thought of when looking at the Great Lakes (St. Marys River, Detroit River, and Lake St. Clair. Also included is a message board (which gets moderate traffic), links, and other resources to topics that would be of like interest).
Pages on the lighthouses vary. While all the lighthouses on each body of water are listed, not all have large entries. For most, thera is a nice selection of photographs and basic information. For some, such as Marblehead on Lake Erie, a bigger entry exists.
