Web accessibility for users with cognitive disabilities
I gave a short presentation today at Michigan Marketing & Design on web accessibility for users with cognitive disabilities. This was just something I threw together for an internal seminar, but it was well received and I was asked to post it online.
I feel a little sheepish about this as I borrowed heavily from the references I listed (as noted in my outline). But here it is in case anyone finds this to be a useful summary.
http://mmd.umich.edu/cognitiveI used Eric Meyer's classic S5 CSS presentation web app. I'm not quite sure how accessible the app itself is. I switched it to outline mode and cleaned up the CSS a bit in hopes that it will be more accessible now. But please let me know if you experience any problems.
