Comparison of RLIN21 and OCLC Connexion Features
Some of you reviewed the initial list of "RLIN21 Features" in June.
The OCLC-RLG Technical Services Transition Team has transformed
it into a comparison chart of RLIN21 with OCLC Connexion features.
Please send me your comments (Is everything clear? -- Are there any RLIN21 features missing?)

Value of Accessing Individual Records
Most of the concerns about combining the RLG Union Catalog with WorldCat are about needing access to the individual records in a cluster.
AP catalogers also feel strongly about preserving access to individual records in a cluster.
Accessing the individual library records is an important and unique feature.
We are able to choose, compare, combine and edit other libraries’ records in RLIN. Sharing more records gives us a chance to view different decisions on subject headings, call numbers, uniform titles, etc. Viewing different decisions is also a very important habit not only in cataloging but also on many issues in our working and personal life.
Many thanks to those of you who responded.

interest in this session statistics information.
Many thanks to those of you who have sent comments via e-mail or on AP blog.
