Olde-World Charm
Escapism; isn't that what we all want? To me, a vacation means getting away from the crazy, fast-paced life of cell phones and e-mail, text messages and long meetings at work. I think I found a place.
These cottages in Donegal, Ireland are simply amazing.
There's a cluster of 10 traditional Irish cottages, designed to help you slow down and enjoy life. And what a view! The pictures of the cottages almost look like paintings. A friend of mine has been to Ireland a few times to visit a former au pair, and she tells me Donegal is a beautiful part of the country. I'm definitely going to check out these Ireland cottages for a getaway vacation in the fall. Now I just have to decide which of the 10 cottages that I would like to spend a week in, or maybe 10 days.

Thanks for this info. I would like to know what other cottage-like Ireland vacations on the Irish mainland you recommend. This will be my first trip there next summer-2008. Do you know of any Ireland travel advisors I can talk to? Need lots of guidance about good places to go and which places are not worth it. We have a family of 5, maybe more will come, ranging in age 80 (grandparent) to a daughter age 20. Thanks.
