Visit Nicaragua
Why visit Nicaragua, you might say? Let's start with its dramatic geography: lakes and volcanoes! I was a bit skeptical when a friend of mine suggested Nicaragua for my next exotic vacation. But she showed me this site that includes tours in Nicaragua that sound really cool.
These tours include an English-speaking guide and some great lodging. the hotels look top-notch, some have pools. OK, so here's another big draw: howler monkeys, iguanas, toucans and parrots! My favorite page at this Web site gives all the facts to tour Nicaragua.
You can read all about the wildlife refuges, biological reserves, names and locations of volcanoes, and beaches.
I'm glad I learned more about Nicaragua. I'll be sure to post vacation photos when I get back!

Visiting Barcelona
Ever since watching the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona and speaking to some good friends about their Barcelona travel experiences, I have always had Barcelona on my must-see list. My main concern is that the price would be way too high to enjoy anything more than a Barcelona day trip when I visit Europe next year.
I spoke with several experienced travelers and they suggest using some of the hotel booking websites that deal with the hotels direct to get the best deal. For example, easybook.com offers great deals on top Barcelona hotels such as Fira Barcelona.
Because of its 2000 years of history, Barcelona's culture is rich and should be taken in over at least 3 or 4 days and not a day trip. So finding an economically way to do this could be the difference between visiting the city or passing it up on my first trip to Europe.

Time to slow down
So when you're running to your car in the parking lot, you know it's time to slow down. In your day, your life, your brain. If you can't catch your breath because you are constantly on the go, it's time to slow down.
If you gulp down your coffee, squeeze in your workout, talk on the phone while making dinner, clean the bathroom when your child is in the tub, it's time to slow down. Isn't it?
