My Astronomy Club vs. The Episcopal Church Pt. 1
There are four seasons in the church year: Advent, Lent, Vacation Bible School, and Stewardship. Stewardship is my least favorite, and this year it just happens to coincide with a massive desolation that seems to have settled on my spiritual life. It's an accumulation of small things, not the least of which is the difference in spiritual oxygen available at St. Gregroy's Abbey and at my home church. But more than anything else, it's the sense that "church" is about money and family. Hence my title.
