Google Gadget: Upcoming PHLI Workshops
As part of my work at the PHLI, I'm trying to increase the visibility of the library to students, staff, and faculty. I've been working on a simple "proof of concept" widget that will display the latest upcoming workshops being offered by the library.
I've recently completed a Google Gadget that allows for this functionality, and a Facebook application should be forthcoming.
The Gadget comes in multiple flavors. Click here for the version that lets you stick the gadget into your personalized Google homepage (iGoogle).
Click here for an easy javascript snippet that can be placed on any webpage (including your blog, myspace, webpage, etc) like so:
