Web of Science Backfiles Expanded
The University of Michigan libraries now have access back to 1900 for the Web of Science (Science Citation Index) database.
We previously had coverage for this product only back to 1945. This portion of their product is sometimes called "Century of Science" as it extends coverage for all of the 1900s.
You can access this resource through the traditional ISI Web of Knowledge interface, which is one of the databases included in the Search Tools environment:

New Exhibit Cases in Science Library
Newly installed exhibit cases in the Science Library contain a display called “Treasures Looted, Treasures Saved,” about looting and archaeology. The display was developed by the University's Exhibit Museum staff with Professors and Curators Henry Wright and Jeffrey Parsons of the U-M Museum and Department of Anthropology.
Funded by the Library and with strong support from Museum Exhibit Director Amy Harris, these cases were built by Museums staff to match a set at the Exhibit Museum in their Rotunda lobby. As exhibits rotate off display at the Museum, they will move over to the Shapiro Science Library for a new audience, with new exhibits every six months. Please come and see the beautiful new cases and current exhibit, located on the third floor in the Shapiro Science Library just before the entrance to the connector to Hatcher. As the exhibit notes, "Carefully excavated and recorded sites not only tell us about our past, but also help us prepare for the future."
