To Instruct and Delight: Research on motivation in instruction
What's the difference between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation? Under what circumstances do you yourself learn best? What strategies might you use when engaging an audience to capture and keep their attention?
Come learn about motivation in the context of instruction from experts
in the Education and Psychology fields. Professors Stuart Karabenick
and Bill McKeachie will lead us in a discussion about what motivates
learners as is reflected in the current research in the field.
When: December 18th
Where: Ehrlicher Room
Time: 1:30-3pm
