Ever heard of (or participated in) speed-dating? Think of that format for this event!

This will be a structured event where you will have the rare opportunity to network with the SI Alumni Board and other prominent alumni in the area.

You will be seated at a table with one alumnus and will have 7 minutes to ask them questions related to their careers, current position, organization, critical skills needed in the field, employment outlook, etc. We will announce when time is up and then you will rotate to the next table, and so on.

This event is scheduled for 2 hours. If you can’t stay for the full 2 hours, we just ask that you arrive and/or leave at the top of the hour (12:00 or 1:00).

Not only is this an opportunity for some valuable networking, it’s a great opportunity for some career exploration as the backgrounds and specializations of these alumni are quite diverse. Remember, alumni are also employers! Find out what employers are looking for in candidates in all different work settings. Find out what you should be doing now to make yourself more marketable to any employer.

Startling statistic! 90% of MSI graduates report that networking directly led to their job offers. Networking works!
