Global Information Week

The Undergraduate Library is very excited to present Global Information Week from March 22 to March 25.

A selection of posters from past GIEU projects will also be exhibited in the Undergraduate Library. Students will also have the opportunity to learn more about global information resources available through the University Library.

Come hear undergraduate students share their experiences studying abroad and share your stories!

4:00 - 5:30 Global Information Resources Workshop
An interactive tour introducing online global information resources.

6:30 - 8:00 Movie Night - OUTSOURCED
A comedy presenting a unique look at love, friendship, work and understanding across cultures, in the context of a global economy.

12:00 - 1:00 International Student Experience Panel
Students share experiences, challenges, rewards and observations of being an international student at the University of Michigan.
This event is co-sponsored by the International Center.

4:30 - 6:00 African Studies Information Resources Workshop
This interactive computer workshop will review language, cultural and health resources to support study, research and travel to Africa.

6:00 - 7:30 Women's Health and Global Issues

A heartwarming film about a Palestinian community adjusting to life in America.
