Everyone is invited to the Community Informatics seminar speaker series.The seminar brings together students and faculty who are engaged in diverse community and public interest work to learn from each other and a wide range of guest visitors.

Regardless of your specialization, come to learn more about topics & trends in the field of Community Informatics and possible public interest internship & career options.

Emily Puckett Rodgers
Our Open Education Coordinator responds to requests for information and performs educational outreach about openness at U-M. Serving as liaison, the Open Education Coordinator helps build campus collaborations around open sharing while also ensuring that
Open.Michigan meets the needs of the U-M community.

Kathleen Ludewig
Our Open Education Specialists are the go-to people for all tasks open. They perform educational outreach about openness at U-M and help build campus collaborations around open sharing. They are trained in the arts of copyright and policy, and have plenty of experience in making course content open. Anything ranging from a quick openness audit, to consulting with faculty, students, and staff, to managing participants in the dScribe project, these Specialists can help you share.

Lisa McLaughlin is the OER Commons Manager at ISKME, where she facilitates global OER partnerships and synthesizes outreach and communications between ISKME's research and education arms and OER Commons. Lisa received dual Masters Degrees from the University of Michigan in Information Science (MSI) and Management of Human Services (MSW). Her background and interests include social and open innovation, community informatics, user experience design, social media, and cross-sector collaboration. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Michigan.
