Alicia Wise Interview

Ann Arbor's "Homeless Dave," who conducts smart interviews on a teeter-totter in his backyard (!), has published a Q & A on his website Teeter Talk with Alicia Wise, who will be speaking on the Publishing panel this afternoon at 3:30.

Just to be clear, it's not like I was playing favorites and wanted only Alicia, of all the symposium speakers, to go on a teeter totter ride. Speakers from our local community have ongoing 'open access' to the totter, so I didn't feel pressed by time to explicitly invite them. Other out-of- town guests may have more aggressive spam filters than Alicia. Or they may, as some responded, have pretty well-packed schedules already. In any case, any symposium attendees (speakers or not, out-of-towners or not) who'd like to teeter totter are certainly welcome. I'm even amenable to symposium attendees teeter tottering with each other. One blacked-out time block is 10am-3pm on Saturday. Otherwise, it's open. I'll even provide transportation.

Thanks for extending the invitation, HD. I hope you get some takers ;) .
