Astronomy Sites in Second Life: Spaceport Alpha
Spaceport Alpha is one of the oldest and most well-developed sims in SecondLife. There are models of most of the rockets created in the quest for space, and some of the important planes too. You can hop a Gemini capsule to low earth orbit, and teleport to all the planets and a few other solar system objects. There is also a trivia challenge right now, where you can explore the island to find game cards and answers to win prizes.
Members of the Wolverine Community can meet Friday, March 20th, at noon on the M/Diag and we’ll travel to the spaceport. Others can meet us there at 12:10.
