Faculty Research Roundtables Schedule
Research Roundtables
Following up from a recommendation of the Futures Work, we are initiating an opportunity for faculty to share their ongoing and planned research with the SON community.
The purpose of the Research Roundtables is to:
1) support the development of a community of scholars among faculty and students at the SON
2) provide a forum for the sharing of faculty research
3) facilitate the development of scholarly networks
The roundtable presentations will be conducted on a regular basis on Monday afternoons, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. (Room 1330). Invited faculty presenters will:
1) Share a recently completed or on-going research study. While studies are embedded in programs of research, we want presenters to provide an insiders’ view of theoretical framework and methods.
2) Share a research article that would provide important background information about the study or program of research.
3) Engage in scholarly discourse with faculty and students around their research.
We look forward to your attendance, participation, and discussion surrounding the exceptional research conducted by our faculty at the School of Nursing.
