27 Letters from Getty

27 Letters is a downloadable desktop application provided by Getty Images. The application looks a little bit like CoolIris, but it functions more as a visual display of popular online topics. The Getty scours the most popular blogs and news organizations and places popular images, videos, and media in its navigation scheme. You can email the image or video to a friend or go to the source. It's a great way to catch up on the news, get a timely laugh, or just find something interesting. Each month the media sets are updated with a new "issue." Next month's release is just around the corner, so try it out in time to see the new images.
