The Collective Snapshot is a photographic series by Spanish photographer Pep Ventosa.

Ventosa layers of dozens of snapshots from different viewpoints to form a hazy representation of iconic landmarks around the world. The different facets make the view abstract, but recognizable.

The artist himself says that photographs "... were blended together and reworked to create an abstraction of the places we’ve been and the things we’ve seen – a celebration of our collective memory."

Look here or on Ventosa's Facebook page to see more photographs of the Sydney Opera House, Golden Gate Bridge, the Taj Mahal, and others.
