12th Annual Exhibition of Art by Michigan Prisoners

Prisoners Art?

This nationally recognized show, the largest exhibition of prisoner art in the country, includes 300 works of art by nearly 200 artists, shedding light on the talents to be found behind prison walls and encouraging the public to take a second look.

Catch the exhibit from March 27- April 11th at the Duderstat center on North Campus. To get there on U-M transportation, take the Bursley/Baits bus or North Commuter to Pierpont Commons.

It is interesting to see the human side behind our criminal justice center. These prisoners broke the law, but they do enjoy things like fine arts like the rest of us.

Its a must see!
