Earl Nightingale Entry 3

After listening to Earl Nightingale I've come to realize that it's up to me to make my dreams come true. I need to think about what it is that I want to do with my life and make that happen. Also up until now I never thought that what we think about is what we are going to be in life. I understand it and it does make a lot of sense, however I just never thought of it that way. From this moment forward, I am going to start thinking about what it really is that I want to do for the rest my life. THink about it and then make it happen.

Kurt Schwitter

Kurt Schwitters sound poem to me was many things. When first listening to the poem in the beginning, I thought it was somewhat interesting. It was something very different that i've never heard before, he wasn't speaking in english, I don't know what he was saying and i wanted to try and figure it out. However, after a while the sound was becoming very repetitive, and given the fact that I didn't really understand what he was saying or what it had to do with, made the poem very confusing and a little annoying to be honest.

Earl Nightingale Entry 2

In Earl Nightingale's speech he tells us the key to success and the key to failure. We become what we think about. A man is what he thinks about all day long. Human beings can alter their lives by altering the attitude of their minds. If you think in negative terms you will get negative results, and if you think in positive terms you will achieve positive results. Believe and succeed. The human mind isn't used because we take it for granted. Think about what it is that you want and do your best to make whatever that is happen. Today people are where they are because that's where they really want to be. You're guided by your mind.

Earl Nightingale Entry 1

What Earl Nightingale is trying to say through his speech is that success today in people is very low.That we don't see many people who are real successful in life. What makes a person successful? Is it someone who makes a significant amount of money? If you make a lot of money, that doesn't make you a successful person. A successful person is someone who actually accomplishes something in there life, something they've wanted to do, something they set their minds to, and have learned from.
