- Corey Seeman, Kresge Business Administration Library, University of Michigan -- We tend to live with the acquisitions system as it is setup vs. how we would like to have it setup. The perception is that making dramatic changes in the system will cause more headaches and heartaches than it is worth. This session intends to provide a understanding of the role that funds and reports play in the Innovative System. Discussed in this session will be topics such as how to better utilize the statistical reporting; matching funds, codes and reports with the desired statistical needs; and matching the fiscal close method in the Millennium System to match the method that is used at your institution.

MilStats (as it is known) is available in each Millennium program and offers the ability to save queries, save results, search by different types of records, re-run searches, and export reports easily into Excel or other programs. This session will give an overview of the features and functions of Millennium Statistics and show how to utilize this in your library. (
