PureText

PureText

OK - this is not technically new, but hardly a day goes by when I do not use this great utility.

This simple little application makes it very easy to cut and past items from one application to another without all the garbage or extra formatting that comes with it (have you ever tried to cut and paste from the web into Word...lots of fun!). This saves the step of opening up note pad, pasting and copying from that and then into work.

From the site "PureText makes this simple by adding a new Windows hot-key (default is WINDOWS+V) that allows you to paste text to any application without formatting."

Every time I use this, I think of Bernie Bopp, the great professor at the University of Toledo who shared this with me. So I am helping to spread the word as well!
