American Pie
"One time, at band camp...."
If you have not heard the above line quoted atleast 2340709 times, then I would be very surprised. American Pie is one of those movies that you hate to like. There is not really a plot line, the material is vulgar, but you love it! It is obvious that this movie is mostly targeted to adolescent boys with all of the nakedness featured in the movie, but I think anyone could get a laugh out of this. From what I could get out of the movie, here is what I consider to be the plot:
American Pie introduces us to a group of 4 males who have all come across a serious dilemna: their high school senior year is coming to an end, and they are all virgins. *Gasp!* It is unacceptable for any of them to attend college as virgins.
We are introduced to Jim (Jason Briggs) in a rather compromosing situation in the beginning of the movie. (Think porno and a tube sock). Jim is the film's main character, who is an awkward guy that has trouble with females. Then you have Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas) who is the most normal out of the group of friends. Kevin is in a serious relationship with Vicky (Tara Reid) but he cannot seem to get past third base. He gets nervous everytime they are about to have sex. Oz (Chris Klein) is the third character introduced. He is a not so bright jock who thinks joining the male choir is the only way to meet a lady. Finally, we have Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas) who is somewhat nerdy and a germaphobe. All four friends make a pact to help each other lose their virginity before they graduate. The ideal night of course, would be Senior Prom.
Each guy has a different experience with a different girl. Jim is paired up with Nadia (Shannon Elizabeth) a sex-crazed foreign exchange student who proves to be way too much for Jim. After things do not work out with Nadia, he falls for Michelle (Alyson Hannigan) a timid band player, who really is not as innocent as she looks. I mean who can forget who quote, "One time, in band camp....". As stated before, Kevin remains with his steady girlfriend Vicky. Oz falls for Heather (Mena Suvari) who has a negative opinion of jocks. Finch falls for someones mom! This someone is Stifler (Seann William Scott), by far the funniest character in the movie.

Kevin: I thought you sounded really good.
Stifler: I think you need your balls reattached..
Stifler was hilarious. Even though he was incredibly rude and crude as you could see in the above quote, the audience can not help but to fall in love with him. He is the epitome of what girls would call a "dog." However, he is the only experienced one out of the whole group. All of the characters soon find out that they can not take advice from perverted Stifler. Just watch this clip to see how funny yet rude Stifler was throughout the entire movie!
In the end, each man is successful in losing his virginity. Some are sweet, such as Kevin and Vicky, and others are just plain weird like Jim and Michelle. I do not want to reveal too much on these scenes, so you are going to have to rent it! Still not convinced? Watch the trailer to get an overall feel for what it is like.
Whether you like the extremely awkward conversations between Jim and his father, or the overall ridiculous-ness of Stifler and his comments, it is guranteed that you will laugh during some part of the movie. At the very least, it can give you some sex tips that you probably will NEVER use.
