I’ve been in this place before
The good news is that I recognize it
The bad news is that it’s comfortable
It’s easier to be broken
Than to try and fix all the problems
It easier to be tempted
To stay here and stop worrying
Stop waiting, stop hoping
Stop trying to convince myself
That I can get it back to good
Stop being disappointed
that I haven’t yet
Stop believing it will get better
Stop seeing myself as I was,
accepting myself as I am
and as I will be;
stagnate thru the remainder
Stopped .
