Spinning in too many directions
trying to get away from my self
at least for just a little while
at least until next week
when I’ll be so gone
I’ll forget where I’m from
at least until I am on the way back
or at least until I make it home
when I’ll turn around once again
to figure out where I’ve been
and tell myself it’s ok to stay
at least until the next time
when I need to run again.
