A good day

Today has been a great day. I am finally rid of a medication pump that I've worn day and night for the past 6 weeks. The thing was a nuisance every minute of every day. The pump fed medication through a port (that was surgically implanted in my arm) every five minutes. I had to wear the pump around my waist in a satchel. To shower, I had to wrap my arm in Saran Wrap to keep it dry, and then keep that arm raised over my head as I tried my best to clean up one-handed.

It's done, over, finished! Now I can shower at will, without being tethered to the satchel hung outside the shower. I can get really cleannn.

And another great thing that happened today is that I learned that the head of the math department at my university (where I'm still pursuing a BFA degree) has finally agreed to let me waive the math course! Yipee!! I use math in my work every single day, and am pretty good at it if I may say so myself. So the upshot of this is that I can graduate this December! Halleluiah the Saints Rejoice!
