Beyonce's Milestone Photoshoot
Over the past decade, America has seen a huge transition from the days where supermodels graced the cover of every major magazine. These days, even fashion magazines feature movie stars and music stars rather than supermodels, and Beyonce Knowles' appearance on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition confirmed that times have changed.
Beyonce was the first non-model to appear on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. She appeared in a cute yellow bikini and admitted that, "It takes a lot of guts," because she is, "really a shy person."
This is also a first for Beyonce, as she has never been photographed in a swimsuit aside from the occassional paparazzi shot. Apparently, she was waiting for the right moment, and this was it. The photos also clearly showed the transformation of Beyonce's body from curvy and volumptuous to thin and solid. Either way, there is no doubt that Beyonce is a beautiful, confident woman.
