Paul McCartney Signs with Starbucks
Starbucks opens Record Label So I was just browsing CNN.com just because I wanted to see what was going on in the the world today. Thought I would jump to the entertainment section to work on my blog. So, I was very surprised to see that Starbucks, yes the coffee place, is opeing up a record label with Paul McCartney-a former Beatle- as their first person. Starbucks has been selling for CD's for a while now and has helped also produce a full legnth film before. The article on CNN.com stated many other things that Starbucks has been doing to broaden their industry. Who knew that one day Starbucks would be producing music featuring the most popular Beatle member. I am sure that all Beatle fans are thrilled about this and are super duper excited to hear a new album, afterall I am assuming that one will be produced if he has signed onto the label.
However, I must dispute, that Starbucks making a record label, a bit odd since if you are ever to say oh Starbucks produced it, all I will think of is my Venti Pumpkin Spice Latte....mmmmm.
