Ctools Sites
The ctools site has been a useful tool for me personally. It just allowed for someone like me who never likes to carry around paper or anything for the matter but has a wealth of computers to access, like everyone else at UM does. It was extremely useful to always know what was going on in each class in a college environment that is so much more hectic than high school. Keeping track of homework was nice because i could never keep track of it myself. Making ctools mandatory is not too hectic because it does not take too much time to put up a syllabus and then it is up to the teacher to update it or not, but at least the syllabus will be there for constant reference. It will also hopefully get more teachers to constantly use it so that the students can stay more in tuned.
One thing though is that I dont know if this rule is policed too much because my Math class has no ctools, but it could be because it is a 400 level class with graduate students in it who do not use ctools.
