ADP BLOG ON MY COLLECTION
My object is actually a whole collection of different things but in the same genre so that they relate. They are particulary important to me because these things in my collection are paraphernalia i have collected from the many concerts I have been to. This collection includes guitar picks and drumsticks, that i have caught from the band members, tickets from every concert i have been to, i'm almost up to 50 concert tickets, and band flyers. This collection is so importnant to me because all of the things in it remind me of what an amazing time i had and more importantly, how close I was standing to my most favorite bands.
I suppose this collection's effect on a broader social context would be that it shows people how involved I am with my music and how dedicated I am to it. It then allows people to judge me, i suppose, and create a personality and assumptions about me. This collection also challenges myself pushing my body limitations. The things in this collection reminds me of stories, bruises, and kicks in the face that generates good conversations to people. I also constantly push the limitations of my ears because the music is so loud, but that's what makes it so intriguing and these items in my collection create social interation and they also come from actual social interation.
