Great SI Talent Show!
When I started writing this blog I was worried if I had enough to say each week; well now I know I don’t have to worry at all, as there are exciting things that happen every day! This past Friday SI just hosted its annual Talent show~ Although we held it in classroom NQ 2255, I have to say that it has completely reversed my feeling about being in that classroom – after the night of highly entertaining show.
The show was hosted by Dr. Chuck, in his handsome tuxedo :) There were 11 short programs, each less than 10 minutes. Acts included traditional genres such as singing, piano, guitar, but also things like “Euphonium Solo” that I have never heard of before! My favorite is Anne Cox’s song “Finding Aids.” You can view it here.
The money raised from the Talent Show will go to ASB and SISA (School of Information Student Association). What a win-win!
