Better late than Never

Hello all,
I forgot to make a welcome blog that introduces my topic. So I am writing the welcome blog now. My blogging topic is the roll of news in the lives of teens. My focus is on what different changes in the economy, education, politics, or other aspects have on highschool and college age youth.

I think my focus is important because I feel sometimes youth forget that changes in the country have a derect effect on their lives. Simply, writing of these events as changes that only effect "older people." I can honestly say that I have soemtimes overlooked how these changes could effect me. For example, as I said in my previous blog it was not until this summer that I realized the direct effect the economy can have on high school and college age youth.

For my blog I intend to find different articles in the news that relate to youth. Hopefully, others will find the information interesting and relatable. Also, I hope that my blogs will encourage other college age students to venture out and seek information on things that they feel may only effects "old people."

~*Happy Blogging*~
